The noise-canceling microphone on the Plantronics MX150 is mounted on a "midi" length boom. It's longer than a mini boom, and shorter than a full-length boom. It's a good compromise, providing better voice pickup than the minis, but taking up less space in pocket or purse than the big booms.
The MX150 is a good choice for people who need superior sound quality in noisier environments -- it's comfortable, flexible and stable. It sounds great and stays put. There's no headband to mess your hair or interfere with your hat.
The bendable boom combines the Plantronics Flex Grip™ design with advanced microphone technology, resulting in a discreet, stable and high-quality headset that provides optimal fit and superior call clarity in nearly every environment. The MX150 series is compatible with most headset-ready mobile devices including Motorola®, Nokia, Samsung®, LG®, and Kyocera®.
