At a recent Grammy awards, Beyoncé sang through a Sennheiser microphone. So did the Police, and Cee-Lo Green, Shakira, Rascal Flatts and others.
At a recent Oscar awards, host Ellen DeGeneres used a Sennheiser microphone; and Sennheiser mics were used for the red carpet arrival, the awards presentation, and Oprah's after-Oscar Party.
At a recent Super Bowl halftime show, Prince performed with a soaking wet Sennheiser microphone, and the miserable weather didn’t hurt his performance or the mic.
Established in Germany in 1945 by Professor Dr. Fritz Sennheiser, Sennheiser Electronics is still a family-owned business, and has become one of the world's leading providers of electro-acoustic solutions. Renowned performers use Sennheiser microphones and headphones, in studios and on stages worldwide.
For over 60 years, the Sennheiser family and company have had a passion for perfect sound and for product reliability. Sennheiser is a leader in microphone technology, RF-wireless and infrared sound transmission, headphone transducers, and noise-cancellation. Sennheiser products are widely used in show business, audiology, aviation, and in the office.
Sennheiser is in the ideal position of being able to draw upon a long history of award-winning expertise, as well as the energy and enthusiasm of a young and dynamic company to provide customers with the best possible headset solutions. The company has four objectives that define success in headsets: comfort, safety, durability and quality.
Sennheiser’s US headquarters is in Old Lyme, Connecticut, not far from the HeadsetHouse headquarters in Milford. A few years ago, Sennheiser wanted some of our headset business. We tried a few samples. We loved the comfort and construction quality and two-year warranty, but the sound wasn’t quite good enough for us to recommend to our customers.
Sennheiser made some improvements, and now their headsets are absolutely amazing, with inbound and outbound clarity that other makers can’t match. We're very happy with Sennheiser. So are Beyoncé, Sting and Cee-Lo; and we think you will be, too.
