About Dr. Wendy
Wendy R. Kopfschmerzen, PhD, is a psychologist, who also has degrees in acoustics, audiology and anatomy. She is a regular user of headsets in her personal and professional life.

Before joining HeadsetHouse, Dr. Kopfschmerzen worked as a marriage counselor in Santa Monica, California; and was an engineer at communications research firm TransducerLogik GmbH in Germany; Audiktia, a Danish maker of hearing aids; and Hegeman Laboratories, a hi-fi speaker manufacturer in New Jersey. At HeadsetHouse, she is involved in product design and marketing, as well as answering questions from prospective purchasers. HeadseHouse calls Dr. Kopfschmerzen a Headset Therapist, to acknowledge her expertise and empathy.

Dr. Kopfschmerzen has homes in Armonk, New York, and Saarbruecken, Germany, and maintains dual US-German citizenship, and was educated in both countries. She is married to Markus Neumann, a marketing executive at Porsche; and has three children in college.

In the US, Dr. Kopfschmerzen drives a replica 1957 Porsche Speedster, usually while wearing a Plantronics Discovery 645 Bluetooth headset. She says her car is great for evaluating headsets: "If I can have a conversation while doing 80 in a 50-year-old sports car, I know it's a good headset."
